Bad Mouth & Blue Eyes

Sarah and I met a couple of years ago at a Boffi event during ICFF, the International Contemporary Furniture Fair. She was talking to an Italian guy in a navy raincoat, and by the time the three of us finished our flutes of champagne, we had plans to meet the Italian for a fine dinner he would cook at his apartment the following Friday. More champagne was consumed. The Italian left. Sarah asked me how I knew that guy; I said I didn't, didn't she? We never made it to the dinner.

Later at the party, a short man in a snazzy suit overheard Sarah's sharp tongue, commented on her red lipstick, and promptly proclaimed us "bad mouth and blue eyes." "Our band name!" we said. We don't play instruments. "Our future DBA!" We're working on it.
